There's a palpable wilderness about Linda Smyth, artist/designer of Rabid Fox and Fleathers.  A combination of of-this-world and otherness.  Her jewelry harnesses the ferocity and exotic beauty as only found in nature.  Each design takes on a life of its own. A seemingly innocuous octopus engulfs an entire finger.  Two bees buzz and kiss below knuckles.  And those earrings!  It was a night of totemic proportions.  Ahmed Samy stopped in to spin for us, and we were under his spell.  Everyone was moving, everything was alive.
